This one's for Bruce
My friend Bruce Whizin took his last breath on earth last week. I met Bruce way ba
ck when. Before I was married, before I had kids – and long before I knew where my life’s path would lead me. Fortunately, many paths led to or from Bruce. He was quirky and creative which for me was the perfect recipe for someone I could love.
We shared stories and would often call each other to check in ending most calls with “give your sweetie pies hugs” and “love you babe.” He supported pretty much every project I worked on and was especially intrigued by the Pico Union Project – sitting on our inaugural board.
I already deeply miss my quirky, generous, creative friend Bruce. I feel blessed for the friendship and memories and a warm feeling knowing we are still close in heart.
To keeping, holding and making memories.
