Last month, the Pico Union Project was recognized by the United Way of Greater Los Angeles as a Community Care and Power Hub, serving as an inaugural community anchor for their new initiative. Together, we will work to create a shared economy and social civic infrastructure through demonstrations in the Pico-Union neighborhood and share lessons with neighborhoods across Los Angeles and throughout the United Way network nationally.
