We've Been Granted

We are grateful to the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles for awarding the PUP with an incredibly generous grant to create online content. This grant will allow us to grow Jewels of Elul from one month of inspirational offerings to a Daily Jewel. We will also be creating new video content to educate and inspire the community. Our relationship with the Foundation has been critical to the success of the Pico Union Project since opening our doors and we are honored to once again be in partnership.

Winter Wonderland

Next week we close out the year with an Extra Special Winter Wonderland Distribution. In addition to fresh produce, all families will receive a backpack full of books, toys, clothing and emergency supplies. Please add your gift by visiting our giving link HERE.

A Great Miracle is Happening

The Pico Union Project is Partnering with Cedars Sinai Hospital for a Flu Vaccine Clinic this Friday. This is an amazing blessing for our neighbors and one of the most effective ways to protect themselves from the flu and stay healthy.

YouTube

We need a Hanukkah Miracle. Currently our YouTube channel has 703 subscribers and we need 1000 people to sign up before we can feel the love. If we reach 1000 subscribers by tomorrow the last day of Hanukkah, we will send 8 lucky people a box of swag that is sure to please. Test your mazel and subscribe HERE.

The Shirt Off Our Backs

We love our new PUP T-shirts designed by Peri and printed by Yoel. Pre-pandemic, Yoel worked at a print shop and since March he’s been helping us twice a week with our produce distribution. It was powerful to witness his pride in giving back to the community. We’ve reserved the remaining T-Shirts for anyone who donates $100 or more to the PUP before the new year. Show us some PUP love.

Time to Party

Tomorrow is the last of night, Hanukah and we invite you to celebrate with Craig, the Sinai Temple clergy and world class talent, as we raise mental health awareness within the Jewish community and beyond.
